Double Blessing to Share the Love of God

“And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us”
God is love and he has shed his love into our hearts, he poured out this love abundantly. We are the carriers of the love of God. The love has been poured into our hearts to bring change and we have to carry and share this beautiful love with others. Love has the power to change us and those around us. When we let love in, even our relationships change as we do not see the wrong in others. We overlook offenses and do not think about the wrong done to us. What a beautiful love. It is not a love that comes by our own selves. It is a love that comes from the heart of God. Embrace it today, it will change you and overflow into those around you. God first loved us and now he wants us to love others so we can make our world a better place.
