Identify a Need and Meet the Need

“For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem. It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.”
There was a need amongst the people of Jerusalem and the people from Macedonia and Achaia saw the need. They then decided to meet that need by sowing towards the need of those in Jerusalem. They did not have very much themselves but out of their lack they chose to sow seed into the lives of those in Jerusalem. This was a seed for their future and the results were forthcoming. In fact it was such a blessing that Paul mentions it here in the book of Romans.
Wherever you see a need, do not just look on and tell the person you will pray for them. No, action is required, if the need came to your attention then know that God is looking to you to do something about it. Your seed will never fall to the grown and die, it will bring forth a harvest after its kind. Get ready for your financial harvest as you have sown, so too shall you reap. The timing may not be to your liking but be sure, God will give you a harvest on every seed sown.
