Agreement to Walk Together – Part 4

“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
Psalm 119:5 AMP “Oh, that my ways were directed and established to observe Your statutes [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].” The steps of the righteous, they are ordered by God. You never walk alone. Jesus said; “I’ll be with you all the way, I’ll never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Contents of the contractual agreement: You agreed to follow His statutes, precepts and laws according to His Word. Your conduct is not to shame the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:27).
The ways of walking in agreement to the Will of God, is similar to that of the marriage agreement: Unity with the body of Christ, Loyalty towards God (you don’t deny Christ before others), Oneness with Godly precepts (you can’t go the opposite way than what you have agreed with God) maintain Harmony in the Spirit (You acquire the skill and knowledge to hear and act on the Voice of God’s Spirit – your timing is right). We must never be double-minded, unfaithful, disloyal in our walk with God. Don’t follow opposite directions, but follow the Compass (The Word of God) and don’t form unholy alliances. Avoid to walk in disagreement with God, but rather walk circumspect before Him.
