You Are One with God

Dr RJ Sing · 2 min read

“That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.”
John 17:21

Jesus had a close relationship with God. In Mark 14, we have a gripping picture of the two of them in the garden of Gethsemane. He cried “Abba – Father.” This was a very intimate moment. You and I can have the same intimacy with God. Romans 8:15-16 AMP “For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! 16 The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.” As you get to know Him more intimately, your reverence for Him will increase. You don’t have to dodge Him, He is your Father and allow the Holy Spirit to draw you to Him.

Learn to have fellowship with Him, develop a good friendship, and then begin to bless Him with your friendship. Make a decision right now to be a Word person and to put God’s Word as first place and final authority in your life. No matter what the world says or your feelings say, begin to walk with God and make your friendship with Him as good and as the most important thing in your life. Things will then begin to change for you and all other relationships will fall in order. Therefore, commit to taking each day, to fellowship with Him.
