Fear Not (Part 11)

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
The foundation of fear is selfishness. To be selfish means: To be chiefly concerned with one’s own interest, advantage, etc, especially to the exclusion of the interest of others. To be selfish simply means: ‘For one’s own interest’. The foundation of Faith is unconditional Love.
When you are tempted to fear, say what God has said about the situation in His Word. God has not given us a Spirit of Fear. Fear is part of the Curse. We have been delivered from the bondage of fear and have authority over it. God has given you Power, Love and a calm, Well balanced mind.
When you choose to obey the Word of God, you can expect blessings. (Deut 28:1-14) When you choose to disobey, you choose curses instead of blessings. 2 Corinthians 8:9 “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” Make a decision to not fear anymore.
