Assess Yourself

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
Sometimes it becomes necessary to take stock of your Faith. There are various things against which you can measure your own Spiritual Growth.
- Do you still enjoy your quiet time and going to church?
- What is the state of your relationships with other people?
- Do you obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life?
- Are you guided by the Word of God-And does He speak to you personally when you are studying the Bible?
- Is the expansion of God’s Kingdom important to you?
- Are you doing something about the physical and spiritual needs of those who are less privileged than you?
- Are you still aware of the fact that you often sin?
- Are you willing to forgive those who have hurt you?
- Do you spend enough time every day preparing yourself for eternal life?
If you have answered these questions honestly, give yourself one mark for every affirmative answer. I do trust that you will do more for God and His Kingdom. This is your goal in life from Now!
