Clothed in Christ’s Righteousness
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read
“Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your shame.”
Clothed with the breast plate of Righteousness, Jesus defeated satan, broke the Power of sin and made it possible through His blood for man to live in 100 percent Victory over sin!
God has a people, a nation that are Righteous kings and priests. You are part of that group. You are not righteous by good works. No, you have been declared righteous by Him in this New Life. He has planned for you to be clothed in His Righteousness.
The moment you received Christ by Faith, you were cleansed of all sin and were clothed in Christ’s righteousness and not your own righteousness. This position gives you Power over all sin. Now, sin must not reign in your body. “*Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.” Romans 6:12
It is within your Power! God made it possible. Jesus shed His blood so that you could live Holy and blameless before God. He placed His Spirit within you to enable you to live free from sin.
