“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”
Saving grace is grace that is part of our salvation and gives us an understanding of the grace imparted to us at the death and resurrection of Jesus.
We live daily in this grace upon grace. No law or legalistic religious rules can hold us down. We live in grace, God’s unmerited favour. We did not work for it, it is a free gift given to us by Jesus who lived and died and rose again. It is a finished work of the cross. We live by grace and not the law. We are a free people. Be free in your mind and heart, Jesus came to set you free.
