The Word of God – As Honey for Desert

“More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”
The Word of God is described as sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. Literally, it can be read as the drippings of the honeycomb. This is so wonderful. I have found the Word of God to be so. The Heavens are God’s Preachers in the sky who proclaim 24 hours a day the truth that God exists. God’s Word is precious and indescribable. Let us look at the following verses that further illuminates and enhances our thoughts regarding this matter. *“The law of thy mouth [is] better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.” Psalm 119:72.*
Your wisdom comes from the Word of the Father. The perfection of His ways has revived your soul and given joy to your heart. The radiance of His commands is the light by which you see and function in life. By the Word of God you are warned of all pending danger and you store up the greatest of rewards. Seek the Lord’s face through the Word of God with all of your heart for He alone can provide what you need to fulfill your destiny. God’s favour rests upon your life.
When satan comes against you to ensnare you in his wicked ways of bondage, look to the Word of God. Be a friend and a partner of God, who holds fast to the Word with unwavering confidence. Be confident that no matter what the situation, God is with you.
