God’s Word Revives the Soul

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes”.”
The Psalmist found God’s law of inestimable value. It is trust worthy and perfect. It gives wisdom and brings joy. It reveals God’s will to the faithful. Take a moment to decide for yourself what your Bible means to you. A recent survey revealed disturbing, almost unbelievable statistics: church goers spend 30 seconds per day on average reading their Bibles, and 15 seconds in prayer. It sounds rather far-fetched to you, but work out how much time you spend with your Bible every day.
If it is less than half an hour per day, the time has come for you to restructure your daily schedule. It is essential for you to make sufficient time for Bible study if you wish to grow spiritually. Without your Bible, you cannot become stronger as a Christian. God’s Word is the Word of Life.
See to it that you make your Bible part of your life every day. Begin to love the Word of God even more than your necessary food. God’s Word will change your life. As you read, study and meditate in God’s Word, expect to see positive changes in your Life.
