…But Be Ye Transformed

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God..”
The words “Be Not Conformed” in the above Scripture literally means, ‘Stop conforming yourselves.’ That means we as Christians need to resist being poured into the mould of ‘present day worldly thinking.’ The world has a way of thinking. However, this is not the way we should mould our thinking pattern to. They have a worldview and we as born again Christians have a ‘Word view’.
Our thinking, value system, and conduct must be according to the Word of God. We are to renew our minds with the Word of God. Remember that the Word of God contains the thoughts of God. So as you study and meditate on the Word, you become acquainted with God’s thoughts. It is then that you put the Word into practice in your daily life. Your thinking is very important. So begin today, by renewing your mind with the Word. Make every effort, it is worth it. Your life will change for the better. As your thinking changes, remember your conduct will change. In all of your dealings in life, you will then prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect Will of God. Believe in yourself today. Be the best and do your best as you engage your day.
Think the thoughts of God. His thoughts are in His Word. Refuse to be swayed by the world’s way of thinking. You are now a Kingdom citizen. Think higher thoughts. Renew your mind with Word of God and live a higher life.
