A Heart Examined

“But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel [that tells the good news of salvation through faith in Christ], so we speak, not as [if we were trying] to please people [to gain power and popularity], but to please God who examines our hearts [expecting our best].”
When we serve in the kingdom, we should serve to please God and not win the praises of men. We do not serve to get something or gain popularity. It is a service from the heart that pleases the Father.
The key to sharing the good news is to reconcile man back to God. To teach people the importance, of salvation in their lives. To encourage people to yield themselves to God and follow him with all their hearts. We live a life that speaks to the people we influence so they follow hard after God because we are the example to them.
Whenever we do something in kingdom, God examines the purposes and intents of our hearts as he wants our affection and our love to be for him. In this way the protection of the Lord surrounds us and even if men mean evil towards us, God is our protection and defence.
No matter what you face, God is with you always. He is Emmanuel, God is with us.
