Grace on My Mental Health

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever]”
Romans 8v6

A right heart attitude, stimulates a healthy mind attitude. A person who does not give into their emotions and feelings of weakness and depression, lives a healthier life. A person who constantly ponders on the negative is generally ruled by their emotions. One day up and the next day down. They are constantly led into depression and darkness. A feeling of no hope. Like being in a dark hole and you have no way of coming out. Do not despair. Help is on the way.

The Holy Spirit is here. He is our helper, our guide, our teacher and comforter. He will always encourage and build you up, provided you reach out to him and invite him in. He comes in to the dark hole and lifts you up, with the Father’s right hand. He reminds you of the word he has placed in your heart and when you believe, the word is stirred up by the assignment it was sent with. It will accomplish what it was sent to do. It was sent to lift your spirit man, to ignite faith and hope in your hearts. Especially for the melancholy type personality, there is a special type of grace for your abundant mental health.

Thriver, rise up and embrace this grace for excellent mental health.

P.S. The meaning of the word melancholy: a feeling of thoughtful, deep sadness or gloom, often lingering with no obvious cause.
