Diligence Rewarded

“The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.”
Self-discipline ensures that your body serves your spirit and your vision.
Successful thriving requires saying No to good things to say Yes to the best things.
Master your habits, or they will master your potential.
The word lazy, to me is so derogatory. I would hate for someone to say to me that I am lazy. To me it is an insult but also a trigger for me to put in more effort and to try harder. When this comment is made to me, I am taken aback and then I go, full speed to the Holy Spirit and have a good complaint and then I ask for assistance for him to make me better in this area. I cannot be angry with the person who made the comment, I also have to look at it from my side and take responsibility. Not sure if you agree, but this has worked well for me over the years. I have become more skilled and less lazy. Perhaps you can apply this to your life as well, I am not saying you are lazy, just apply the principle.
The key to advancement is self-discipline as it ensures that your body serves your spirit and your vision well. The results can be measured for yourself. Successful thriving requires you to say no to good things and yes to the best things. Good does not seem to be enough these days, it is the day and hour for the best and then the best of the best. Innovation and something new is always on the horizon so we can never relax in our comfort zone and accept a one time good. Like I always say, this is a journey and yes we are allowed to stop off a little at a particular destination but we can ever camp there as our success always keeps us on the move. We are always learning and growing. Master your habits, or they will master your potential.
The above scripture says to us we can dream as much as we like, however if we are lazy, we will never achieve anything in this life. However if we are diligent, unwavering, unshakeable and unmovable from our dream, we will be rich. Each of us has the right to now choose, will I be lazy or will I be diligent.
A Thriver is a man or woman who is diligent. A thriver does not have the word lazy in their dictionary, so they can never resort to laziness. The Holy Spirit is always causing them to flourish and abound in the blessing of the Lord. Come on Thrivers. We can do this. We are not of the tribe of the lazy.
