The Weapons of the Thriver
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”
The thriver is comfortable with being uncomfortable. The thriver is used to warfare and the attacks of the enemy. He is fully aware of the authority and dominion given to them by God so when they face the enemy, they immediately know, they are not fighting with flesh and blood. I will give you an example of this. You work in an environment that used to be pretty easy going and suddenly there is this person who comes against you. You are up for promotion but this particular person keeps interfering and causing problems for you. Is this the person or the enemy who is using this person to impede your promotion. The enemy wants you to get upset and attack the person, but really the person is not your problem. This is the onslaught of the enemy to take you out.
I love the above scripture that says the weapons we fight with are not ordinary carnal weapons, but as spiritual men and women, we know how to deal with the devil by casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. The word of God is a weapon we use, it is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword. The word is the wisdom of God that comes to your heart and mind when you need it most. It helps you overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony. Having the weapons of warfare that come from God makes you fearless and confident. You are never caught off guard as the Holy Spirit will tell you exactly what to do when you need to do it.
