The Source of Goodness

“Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.”
Every good and perfect gift—including your ability to thrive—comes from above.
Don’t seek thriving from human effort; look to the Father of Lights.
Thankfulness is the language of the Thriver who recognizes the Source.
God is our source of Goodness. Psalm 23v1 says, the Lord is our Shepherd and ends with goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life. God is the source of this goodness so we need never be afraid.
The scripture in James declares that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from our Father, our source of supply. He gives us the ability to thrive in the midst of chaos and challenges.
This thriving does not result from human effort, our own abilities or any form of striving on our part. Striving does not give us as access thriving as striving limits our thriving. God gets the glory in our Thriving. When we strive, it is dependent on our own effort, so we take the praise, but when we are thriving, God gets the Glory.
Thriving stirs up within us the spirit of gratitude, thankfulness and an awareness that nothing we have comes from our own effort, we give glory to God in all things. So Rise up and give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endures forever.
