The Blessing of Healing for Balanced Emotions

The soul realm is where our emotions are housed. The soul realm in man consists of our thinking, knowing and where our decisions are made. The soul realm depends a lot on how we think and how we have been trained to think. The kind of environment we grew up in develops our mindset and the way we respond to life. Jesus instructs us in Romans 12v1, to renew our minds, to be transformed from the world’s way of thinking to the Kingdom’s way of thinking. The entrance of the word into our hearts and minds is the only way we can be renewed. It is a vital area of our lives. It affects every area of our lives. Hence we are instructed to allow the Holy Spirit to transform us from inside out.

The Holy Spirit wants to train and develop us so we grow up emotionally. We need to mature in our emotions and not allow our emotions to take charge over our lives. Our passions and desires, somehow, does not have a long-term view. The kind of decisions we make from the seat of our emotions, tends to lead us into trouble as it is focused on short term gratification. An example would be, “I am angry so I will just act out of anger in relationships etc..” this is a short-term view. It is possible that the very person you act out with your anger, was a necessary part of your way forward. God could have sent this person into your life to assist you, but your emotional immaturity destroyed the bridge that would have transported you to your next season. Was it worth it to allow your emotions to take precedence?

I plead with you today, start meditating on the word of God and allow the word the power and ability to transform your thinking and change your mindset. The holy spirit will grow you and help you become the man/woman God has called you to be. The word has the power to change you, renew you and mature you emotionally. Wisdom comes out of the word and changes the course of your life. You no longer act, out, you begin to carve your world out with your words. I see you growing emotionally and reigning in this life.
