Glorify God

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“I will give thanks and praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart; And will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your lovingkindness and graciousness toward me; And You have rescued my life from the depths of Sheol [from death]”
Psalm 86v12-13

Worship is the language of a man/woman who loves God with all their hearts. The language of one who has been touched by our heavenly Father and had a need met that could only be met by God. A lover of God drinks from the wells of the presence of God, drinks deeply because we know there is no other source that will keep us satisfied nor meet our every need. Our God is our total supply. There is no shortage in his warehouse of goodness. He is the creator and maker of all things good. The book of James say, every good gift, comes from our father of lights with whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning. What a God, what a mighty God.

Family of God, take the time in your busy life, to make time to glorify the Father. Make it personal and shout it out, our God is good and His mercy endures forever. Practice this skill of worship to glorify the Father. Let it not be a one time event, spend time during your busy day and worship him, even in your busyness, whisper his name “Jesus, I love you”, “thank you Jesus for your goodness”. Your voice was given to worship him and glorify his name.

When we come together, open your mouth and together let us glorify the Lord and make a shout of praise to our God. What a mighty God we serve. He is so wonderful and beautiful and glorious. In the presence of the worship, walls come down, prison doors open and shackles and chains are broken. Set yourself free by your worship.
