Grow your Faith
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to Him, begging Him [for help], and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, with intense and terrible, tormenting pain.” Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion replied to Him, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man subject to authority [of a higher rank], with soldiers subject to me; and I say to one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those who were following Him, “I tell you truthfully, I have not found such great faith [as this] with anyone in Israel”
Jesus listening to the centurion was amazed at what he heard, he was listening to great faith. This kind of faith moves mountains and casts out devils. This man did not even spend time with Jesus like the disciples did, yet he understood the authority on the life of Jesus, because he was a man of authority. He knew that Jesus could command a world that he would never have access to so he decided to step over into Jesus’s world to have access to what Jesus had access to. In this case it was healing. In his world he could command men, in Jesus’s world he could command both heaven and earth and this man’s servant needed healing. Are you willing to grow your faith so you can step into the world of the impossible and gain access to things that are only possible with great faith.
Are you willing? Are you ready to grow your faith? Do you want the impossible to become possible? Step in to Jesus’s world so you can grow from weak faith to great faith.
