Grace to Identify a Need
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour (3:00 p.m.), and a man who had been unable to walk from birth was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at that gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, so that he could beg alms from those entering the temple. So when he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking [them] for coins”
The man sitting at the gate beautiful was not looking for healing, he was placed there to beg. He was looking for coins. Peter who was filled with the anointing immediately recognized the need the man had. His response to the man was, silver and gold I do not have but I have the grace to heal you. He spoke the right words and the man was healed in Jesus name.
Discernment is part of this grace, to identify a need. When a person presents themselves, sometimes they do not even know what their need is but God’s wisdom reveals it so you are able to identify and meet the need.
