Season of Receiving

“In everything I showed you [by example] that by working hard in this way you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed [and brings greater joy] to give than to receive.’”
As much as it is more blessed to give, and giving you must, it is just as important to learn how to receive. Many of us know how to give and we are very good at it, however when it comes to the time when we need to, receive we find it very difficult. We feel bad to take something from someone. Sometimes it is pride but whatever it is, please learn to receive.
The person giving you something has to release a seed so they too can be blessed. Words of blessing from your mouth can open a door for them to be blessed so please receive with thanks giving. The giver is positioning themselves for a harvest. You as a receiver must not block their blessing. Receive with thanks giving. It is your season to harvest in receiving.
