Grow in Joy

“Also on that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced because God had given them great joy; the women and children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard from far away”
Let the joy of the Lord be an attitude that releases joy and launches it from your lips, the hidden secret of a happy life on earth—an attitude of unselfishness. My encouragement to you embrace joy and share it with as many people as you can. God will honor your decision to demonstrate an attitude of humility and joy. You will find that joy will cause you to overcome the feelings of hate which will be replaced with a relieving flood of peace and happiness. As Solomon has written, “When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him” (Prov. 16:7).
Actually, it all begins with your knowing Jesus Christ in a personal way . . . and your allowing Him to take the blows of life for you. When you experience this type of joy, you will share it with others. It becomes a fruit in your life that you are willing to share with others. Joy is infectious, share it and everyone around you will be changed.
