Thankful for the Armour God Has Given Us

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.”
We are engaged in a war, a battle when we least expect it. God was fully aware of that, hence he equipped us with his armour, the amour of a heavily-armed soldier. When the enemy comes to attack our minds and our resources, we have the right to engage the armour of God, to resist the devil.
We are so grateful we have the protection of the armour as we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but principalities and powers and rulers of darkness. We win every battle as long as we know the word of God and the presence of God. That is the only way we can overcome in this life. celebrate the fact that you never enter a day without the armour of God. You are protected and shielded by our great and mighty God.
