Thankful for Authority
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read
“Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you. Nevertheless do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.””
Authority is necessary for us to live in dominion in this life. Jesus gave the disciples the authority to have victory in their assignment. Everything they had to encounter needed the authority Jesus gave them.
Likewise, in our own lives, we need to be thankful we are not powerless, we have authority over every spirit and power that tries to hinder us. We Rejoice in this authority, it is the authority of Jesus resident in our lives that gives us power and dominion in every area of our lives. We have authority and power over every spirit of division, dissension and discord, every wicked spirit and principalities and powers. We can speak and these things are subject to your authority. Recognize who you are and begin to operate in this God given authority.
