Honour the House of God with your Time

“and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.”
As a believer and a lover of God, coming to church is an act of the will not a duty or a habit. We are encouraged never to neglect the house of God as this is a place where we grow and learn about this great and mighty God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. When we come to the house of God, the word is preached and as we listen to the word our faith is increased from weak faith to great faith. We enter into the house of God where the presence of the Lord fills the room and in this presence there is fulness of joy and pleasures untold. It is in this environment that we get miracles and see signs and wonders.
Do not neglect the house of God. Honour the Lord by attending the house of God.
