“Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in Heaven. 20 For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My Name, there I AM in the midst of them.”
2. It brings the Holy Ghost – Acts 2:1-2: 120 were in one accord – agreement which caused the Holy Ghost to come like a mighty rushing wind. When two or three are gathered in one accord, the Holy Ghost is ready to demonstrate God’s power and miracles to perform. Our hearts and minds must be totally unified at one time in one place, then God will most certainly show up and show off and it will bring signs, wonders and miracles, there will be a shaking!
3. It lets the church grow – One accord, like mindedness and solidarity.
It is a church that knows the power of a Godly agreement, which is a growing church. Here are an example of a church in Acts:
Acts 2:1: “when the days of Pentecost have come, they were all in one accord, in one place”. Acts 5:12: “And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people and they were all of one accord in Solomon’s porch, and God added daily to the church”.
