Taking Territory Whilst Pursuing My Purpose
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 2 min read

“If you obey, you will enjoy a long life in the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors and to you, their descendants—a land flowing with milk and honey! For the land you are about to enter and take over is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you planted your seed and made irrigation ditches with your foot as in a vegetable garden. Rather, the land you will soon take over is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain— a land that the LORD your God cares for. He watches over it through each season of the year!”
The above scripture was given to the Israelites as they entered into the land God has given to them. It was a land flowing with milk and honey. A land that was prepared for them to prosper and flourish.
We too have been given life to the full till it overflows. Jesus died for us so that we can live a good life, a life free from fear and dread. He has given us authority and power to possess this life. We have to take a stand and possess the land that is given to us. It does not mean only physical territory but things in life, possessions, jobs, promotions, relationships etc. that we have to take possession of. The enemy will try his best to steal kill and destroy so that we do not enter in and fulfill our purpose but we have to recognize his strategy and forge forward. He will use people and even the law to prevent us, but we know who we are. We are the righteousness of God. We have the Holy Spirit and the power of God, so we stand strong and command the things that are not as though they are. Stand strong and possess that which has been given to you. Fulfill your purpose against all odds.
