A Decision to Step Up
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read
“And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about a hundred and twenty,) Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.”
Jesus had ascended into heaven. The shepherd had left and the disciples were at a loss. It seemed as if there was no leader to lead them. It was at this time that Peter by the anointing and calling on his life, stood up and step up to take his place. He was given full authority and power to do what he was called to do, only when he stepped up, did the anointing and power flow to do what needed to be done that day in the upper room. Three thousand men and women were saved that day. Peter stepping up was the right thing to do. God was waiting on Peter, not the other way around.
In our own lives, we keep saying we are waiting on God. Have we ever considered that God is waiting on us to make that decision. The surge and power of the anointing will surprise you as it will equip you and enable you to fulfill your call and purpose. You will be successful in all you do.
