God Challenges Us in the Area of Tithing (Part 3)
Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read
“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.”
When you Tithe, God will prevent the pests (the devourer) from eating up anything that is yours. All nations will look at you and say, that you are blessed. You will prosper in all areas of your life.
Let us consider four important points:
- For more than one thousand years, God kept a record of Israel’s giving. He had required them to give the Tithe to Him. Then at a certain point He told them He had kept a record and they had been robbing Him. So, remember, God keeps a record.
- Keeping back God’s portion is robbery and that brings a curse upon those who do it.
- Faithful Tithing brings a blessing.
- Tithing is a test of our Faith and of God’s faithfulness.
You must begin to tithe freely because you love God. However, when you give He gives back to you with compound interest. Obedience in the area of finances causes the windows of Heaven to be opened over your life.
