Jesus, the Head of the Body!

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.”
The firstborn among many brethren, *“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many bretheran.” Romans 8:29. And the first begotten of the dead, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first-begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.” Revelation 1:5.*
Jesus was Born Again, and He has become the door. The fleshly birth is the legal entry into the earth, but because Jesus is the Head of the Church and the firstborn from the dead, He became the door, or legal entry into the Kingdom of God. There is no other way, you can’t get there by a church door or by being baptised. You can’t get there by paying your tithes or by being good. You must be Born Again, and Jesus is the door of that new birth! Just as physical birth is the legal entry into earth, the spiritual birth through Jesus Christ is the only legal way into Heaven. You are now in that way. God has filled you with complete knowledge of His Will. Jesus is Lord over you and is the Head of the Body, the Church and in all things He has pre-eminence.
