The Word of God – A History of God’s Wonderous Works
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read
“Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.”
The Bible is full of God’s wonderous works. It is indeed a history of all His great acts. Let us consider some examples: *“And it shall be, [that] thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” 1 Kings 17:4.*
“Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which [belongeth] to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”
God commanded the ravens and He commanded the widow to feed His Prophet. Just consider that for a moment. The birds obeyed. The widow woman obeyed and Elijah obeyed. Is that not God’s Wonderous Works? Too beautiful for the mind to grasp. As God’s son/daughter, you have the mind of deepest understanding. Your spirit is perceptive and you have a hearing heart that is discerning between right and wrong. By the Anointing of His Spirit, you have the ability to discern between the Voice of your Father and the voice of the devil. Set your eyes on seeking the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all things will be added to you.
The wonderful thing is that the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you in all of your ways. He will cause you to understand His ways. As you study and meditate on God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will grant you Revelation, understanding and wisdom in your day to day life. Praise God!
