“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
Tongues are the initial evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. I cannot imagine a believer living his Christian life, not speaking in other Tongues. This is so necessary and vital to live a victorious and overcoming Christian life.
*1 Corinthians 14:2. “for he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” The one that speaks in “Tongues” addresses God as he speaks divine secrets in the Spirit. As you speak in other Tongues, you build yourself up in the most Holy faith. This is indeed the language of the New Creation. It is divine. It is necessary. Too many people have been robbed of the blessings of God by not engaging in this most Holy activity of speaking in other Tongues. As you speak, pray and sing in the spirit, this will enrich your spiritual life
So from today make up your mind and begin to practice the art of speaking in other Tongues. Everytime an opportunity presents itself, begin to speak in Tongues. This will definitely encourage you, and stimulate your faith. As you practice this you will build yourself up spiritually.
