We Are from a Supernatural Class

“And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ.I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I [am] of Apollos; are ye not carnal?”
The Corinthian’s were living in the realm of the senses. They had never developed their recreated spirit and Paul had to address them on their level. When a believer is born again, he has a measure of grace in the knowledge of God. He has to study to show himself approved to God. If he fails, he remains unspiritual.
Your spirit needs to be cultivated and developed. An undeveloped spirit causes you to malfunction. The average believer has never developed his spirit. His faith is weak, his love is weak and his knowledge is mixed with error. Love and faith does not come from the reasoning faculties, but it comes from the recreated human spirit.
Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” As you study and meditate in the word of God, you will develop in your spiritual life. This is what God expects you to do. Do remember, that you are from a supernatural class.
