The Call to Philip the Prophet

Philip never lost the passion or enthusiasm of a new convert. Ever sensitive to God’s leading, Philip shared his faith at every opportunity. His decisive, engaging, proactive approach stands as a model for leaders in communicating both vision and values.

Philip was a role model to his daughters as well who were gifted in prophecy. He ministered to the Ethiopian Eunuch as well and led him to Christ. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and when he was led by the Holy to go to a place, he followed without question.

The call on our lives may not be as it was in the life of Philip, yet the role of Evangelist is heavy on each of our lives. We may have different personalities and communicate in different ways, yet the goal is the same, win the lost. Making ourselves available to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
