The Power of Praise
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.”
Praise is a lifestyle. Praise is a choice. Praise opens the doors to the miraculous in your life.
In the book of acts, Paul and Silas were locked up in the deepest part of the prison. They had chains and stocks on them, the prison was damp and dark, probably quite an offense smell surrounded them where they were locked up in prison. The environment where they were forced to be was not conducive to praise, rather it was a place that would normally illicit complaints and shouts of discomfort. Paul and Silas were full of the word of God and the presence of God, what was on the inside of them began to manifest on the outside. They could not change where they were, but they could surely change their environment by the songs they sang. They decided to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise.
Praise is a chain breaker! Praise echoes the presence of God that sets the captive free. The anointing that came with their praise began to remove burdens and destroy yokes. The very chains and stocks on them could not help but obey and break off them. Actually the choice to praise did not only set them free but also every prisoner that was in the prison at that time. The jailer wanted to kill himself when he heard the gates break open. Paul had to stop him and that night him and his entire household was saved.
What are you facing? How big is the challenge? How big is your God? start praising and lifting up your voice to the Father. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Be an atmosphere changer with your praise.
The Thriver is a praiser! Let us enter into the gates of our God with thanksgiving and in to his courts with praise.
