Practice Patience

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1v2-4

“Patience” here transcends the idea of bearing affliction; it includes the idea of standing fast under pressure, with a staying power that turns adversities into opportunities.

The fruit of patience has been birth in your life and the fruit of patience is budding forth each and every day. As it you mature, the fruit ripens and become evident to all. You are a trophy of God’s grace with Patience flowing out of you.

Patience in our lives is developed over time. We really do not have a choice in allowing patience to develop. The Holy Spirit works on us on the inside and transforms us. As we grow we begin to notice that we are not as impatient as we were before. We also notice that we are more tolerant of people and understand where they are at. Patience also allows kindness into our lives. We become kinder to people around us. We no longer get frustrated with people as we did in the past. This is the work of the Holy Spirit working in us.
