Practice Patience
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
Patience is a fruit of the spirit. Like any other fruit it takes time to grow and develop. Once it is ripe and ready it brings forth the greatest flavour and taste. The fruit of patience allowed to be grown and developed in the life of a believer can be a truly great blessing to the person and to those around them. The fruit of patience has to be worked out in our lives by the holy spirit. It is painful and sometimes very frustrating as it is developed. It can cause you to question yourself and even wonder if you are in the will of God. As you embrace the workings of the spirit of God, he will work this fruit into your life and you will enter into the rest of God. The Spirit of fear and anxiousness is slowly removed from your life and you begin to trust God in a way that brings peace and contentment. A godly contentment.
Patience as a fruit is not something that stays in your life as it is not perfected and will never be perfected until the day of going home to be with the Lord, it is being perfected in your life day by day. Grace upon grace and victory upon victory. The mercy and grace of our God works in our life. Practice patience in your life with people and with the various circumstances you will face. There may be questions but just wait on the Lord and he will reveal the necessary information to you.
