Gifts for Thriving Ministry

The Spirit equips every believer with gifts for ministry and impact.

Thriving ministry means activating and using your spiritual gifts purposefully.

Identify your gift and commit to using it for the good of the community.

Paul identifies a spiritual gift as a supernatural ability bestowed on an individual by the Holy Spirit, not as a heightened natural ability. Thus, each gift is a manifestation of the Spirit, that is, visible evidence of His activity. The Holy Spirit bestows the gifts to whom He wills as the occasion recommends from the divine viewpoint.

So every one of us has been given a gift. We have natural abilities, but this gift super cedes any natural ability you have. This gift is not only for you or to make you popular, it is a gift to advance and build the body of Christ.

A thriver uses their gift purposefully so the body of Christ is built up. A person with a ministry to deliver people, uses this gift to ensure that people who are demon possessed are delivered and brought back to their right minds.

Once a thriver identifies their gift, they use the gift to profit everyone around them. They are a blessing to the people they meet and come in contact with. The thriver never hides their gift because they realise God has given them the gift to enhance the kingdom of God and drive out darkness from the lives of the people.
