Grace to Intercede

“And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.”
James, the brother of John was beheaded the night before and the next day Peter was then locked up. The church got together and started praying. They were praying in the house of John Mark’s mother. All had gathered together to make intercession on behalf of Peter. The prayers of the saints were so powerful that God moved on behalf of their prayers and freed Peter from the prison.
Family, we need to pray for each other. We need to pray for our church. We need to pray for our Pastor and leadership team. We need to be a praying church. When there is a need get others to pray for you and on your behalf. The prayer of agreement will bring the power to bring results. There is power in prayer. We bear each other’s burdens by praying for each other.
We have a faithful high priest, Jesus Christ, who intercedes on our behalf. He is praying for us. The effectual heartfelt prayer of the saints makes tremendous power available to us. Let us make a decision to intercede on behalf of our brethren and family. We will see results and give thanks to the Father for his faithfulness.
