The Ability to See Beyond the Pain

“And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive”
When we go through pain, we seem to be obsessed with the pain or so overcome by what we are facing, so much so that we forgot that God has our back. The enemy keeps our attention away from the fact that the word say, “if God be for us who can be against us”.
Joseph went through the pit, the house of Potipher, the prison and then the palace. Through it all, he knew God was at work and was able to respond to his brothers with the above scripture.
Thank you, Jesus, I am trouble free, I am pain free. No weapon fashioned against me will prosper. This too shall pass.
