The Gift of Discernment

Discernment is such a great gift. You are able to see and hear things many other people can not. Discernment is the ability to judge well. When you are facing a situation, it may seem wonderful and everything is in place, but on the inside of you, there is a feeling of, something is not right. That is the activation of the spirit of discernment in your life. The Holy Spirit is telling you that something is amiss and you need to step back and allow him to show you what it is. When you have a job opportunity and everything you asked for seems to be aligned, yet on the inside of you there is no peace. You know that you know, that it is not the right job for you. The full picture will not be given until later on. When you look back you begin to thank God for his protection over your life, otherwise the end could have been disasterous. Please give heed to the spirit of discernment in your life.

In another example I will give you, there may be a business deal that you are getting into and the people you are dealing with are giving you such beautiful promises that it looks too good to be true. The spirit of discernment will show you that it is actually too good to be true, walk away from it. He will make you uneasy around the people you are dealing with and the warning bells start to go off. Back off and walk away, this deal is not for you. Should you go forward with it, you will be scammed and lose your money or be done down in a way you may never recover. You have access to this gift of discernment, activate it in your life.
