Financial Overflow

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 3 min read

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”
Joel 2v23-26

The promises of God are yes and amen. What he has promised, He will surely do. In the above scripture he promises to restore us to the original blessing He intended for our lives. In the world when we purchase a vehicle or computer etc. there are factory settings that the item comes with. We are God’s creation and we are made in his image and likeness. The manufacturer (our Great and mighty God) has his factory settings for our lives. When we come to Him, He presses the reset button to restore us back to the original settings and re-align our lives to what he intended back in the garden of Eden. We were called to live a life free from worry and fear. We had everything provided for in the garden of Eden. All Adam was called to do was tend the garden. There was no toil or hard labour in the garden of Eden. We were supposed to live a long and healthy life. Adam and Eve were fooled by the devil and sin entered in. They were cast out of the garden and by one man’s sin, sin entered the world. We then entered into a life of hardship and toil. Our very nature was a nature of sin, meaning it was a life of hard knocks.

Jesus came, that we might be free, meaning a life free from toil and hardship. We are delivered and we are changed by the power of God. Our very nature has been changed from a life of sin to a life of righteousness. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We do not have to live in want and in lack. We need never be in impoverished or live in poverty. We need never live through not having enough, over burdened by debt or in the yoke of a mortgage. We have the anointing to prosper. We have power and authority to be delivered from the bondage of debt and lack. We are anointed. We are blessed coming in and blessed going out. We know no lack. Our God is with us and for us. The anointing on our lives destroys every yoke and lifts every burden in the name of Jesus.
