Fellowship with the Word

The fellowship means friendly association, especially one who shares our interest. Wow! You can be guaranteed, our God has our best interest on His heart. We are so important to Him. We are His family and He looks forward for us daily, to come and have association with Him, to acknowledge Him and engage Him in our day. When we take the time to spend time in the word, we are having fellowship with the word and in reality, we are having fellowship with the, Father. The fellowship we have with the word, makes God a greater reality in our lives. The word details His character and who is to us. The word reveals to us who we are in Christ and reinforces our identity in Christ.

The more time we spend in fellowship with the word, our citizenship in heaven becomes more clear. Jesus Christ becomes more real to us, actually we are change on the inside into his image and glory. The change on the inside slowly starts to reflect on the outer side as well. There is a kindness and love that starts to show and people start to notice. Our words become kinder and slowly there is evidence of us being more patient with ourselves and others. All of this comes from fellowship with the word of God. Each word in the bible carries power and the anointing for change. Please remember this change does not take place overnight. Our soul realm also tries to reject the need for change, but in time the Holy Spirit wins over our will and changes us into the image and likeness of God. The fruit of the spirit begins to manifest in our lives and we become people who others seek out for advice and assistance.
