Create a Word Community

A word community is a family who spends time around the word of God. We should set aside a day a week to sit with the family and spend time around the word of God. this creates a culture of faith around the word of God. This truth of the word enters the heart of the hearers and increases their faith. We learn about the great things God has done for his people and realise just how much he can do for us. Children listening to the account of David and Goliath are excited as they hear about the Super Hero’s in their computer games and realise there are super Hero’s in the bible as well. This is an early start to their faith.

When we love God and His word, we want to share this love with others. We relay to others the accounts in the bible and stir up their faith. In this way we are creating a community of faith, just as the Apostles of old did from house to house. Let us take time to hand out bibles for people to read and encourage them to have a cell in their homes to learn the word of God. When the word of God is allowed to prevail, we are ripe for signs, wonders and miracles. There is no other way for faith to grow than witnessing a miracle, to see the impossible take place. Our God is a great and powerful God who says He values His word above his name.

The only way our Faith can grow is by the word of God. Creating a word community is creating a community of people who anticipate miracles.
