Growing in Our Faith Life

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.”
In the book of Acts, Peter delivered the gospel message, the message of Jesus who died and rose again for our reconciliation with God. Many were saved when they received the word. The church continued to grow and increase more and more. The faith of the people grew as they continued to hear the word and fellowship together. There was unity, they were sharing things in common and this fellowship increased their faith from day to day. The unity increased their partnership with the house of God and each other.
We, as believers too, will grow and increase our faith as we do not neglect coming together to the house of God. We grow our faith as we fellowship with other strong believers. We grow our faith in our prayer life. We grow our faith as we hear the word of God being preached. The bible says, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
Growing our faith is vital for our growth and success in this life. Without faith it is impossible to please God. When our ways and our faith please God, we can be assured that what we pray for we will receive. This is a win-win situation, communion with God through our faith brings effective results which causes us victory and success in this life.
Strong faith keeps you persuaded in the promises of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to grow your faith daily.
