The Blessing of Righteousness

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The life that we now live, we live by the faith of the son of God. We live this life by the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have been clothed with the righteousness of Jesus. This really means we no longer have sin in our lives, because Jesus died on the cross and paid for every sin, past, present and future. Sounds crazy right. No. Actually it is true, the sin in our lives has been eradicated. We are sin free because of the blood that was shed by Jesus. He went to hell and death to give us freedom. Our spirit man is completely set free from sin. Our behaviour or pattern of living may not reflect it right now but I guarantee you, God sees you through Jesus and to him you are sin free.

As you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, your spirit man is completely set free. What we are dealing with every day in our lives is our soul realm. Our thinking patterns and way of living prior to us giving our life to Jesus. This is where the need for the Holy Spirit is so essential in our lives. Invite the Holy Spirit in to your life daily. He comes in and start to retrain your mind and way of thinking and slowly he changes you to reflect the righteous nature that is already in you. Slowly, you will start to see changes in the way you speak and think. This is a process that takes place but it does not mean you are not the righteousness of God. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are free from sin. The blessing of righteousness is already your portion.

Give yourself to the Holy Spirit to work out this righteousness in every area of your life. Your best life is waiting on your decision.
