Revealing Grace

“But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight:”
The prodigal son, was wayward and out of his place. He spent all his money and only when he was at the lowest point in his life, did he come to himself. It really means that the Holy Spirit allowed him to see what state he was in. Revelation came to him of the error of his ways.
In our case, the holy spirit reveals his word to us or allows us to get good Godly advice when we are going the wrong way or thinking the wrong way. We will be enlightened as to how to correct ourselves and go the way God has called us to. This is a grace where God reveals himself in your situation so there can be a change. Listen for his voice when you are in a dilemma. You will be surprised how he speaks to you and shows you the way to go. This grace helps us to understand His will and purpose for our lives.
