Grace for Humility

Notice the relationship between prosperity and humility and between difficulty and pride.

Humility is a process we go through as we walk with the Lord. It requires a yielded heart and mind to accept the discipline of humility. The grace of God on our lives causes us to embrace humility. We have to lay down pride and allow the spirit of grace to work humility in our lives. It is not an easy process. It is not a deliberate decision we make. Our pride can sometimes be an idol, an idol of absorption.

Each day as we go through various trials and tribulations, we become more, humble. Love has a way of working out pride and embracing humility in our lives. It is a grace of God for humility to become a part of our daily lives. It is an acquired skill, no one is born with it.
