Grace for Compassion

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“Moved with compassion [for his suffering], Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.””
Mark 1v41

Jesus was moved with compassion for those who were sick. He came to save a dying world and each time he met with someone he was moved with compassion to deliver them of their burden or pain.

We too have this grace for compassion in us, however we tend not to express it as well as Jesus did until the spirit of God moves on us to show compassion to people. Some people find it easier than others. Only when we have been through some stuff that other people are going through do we become compassionate to others. We begin to see their pain and need and we reach out with compassion. As we release the grace of compassion for others, we are sowing for our future, so there will be others who will be moved with compassion, one day when we are in need.
