Refuse to Worry

“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”
What a privileged life we have, Jesus said we should not worry, God will provide for our every need. Paul in the book of Philippians tells us again, do not worry. Why do we spend so much time worrying. Worrying is negative faith. We rather spend our time remembering what God has done for us. We need to remember he will never leave us nor forsake us. He will never allow anything bad to happen to us. We need to rest in him and lay down worry in our lives. It is not adding any value to us so why do we take on this task of worrying.
Say to yourself today. I refuse to worry. I believe my God will supply my every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
